• Beaumont Ranch provides the proper safety equipment and shooting equipment
• Appropriate for beginners and experienced shooters.  
• Guest must wear appropriate attire for an outdoor activity. Sturdy closed toed footwear, and clothing appropriate for an athletic activity must be worn to participate.  You must physically have the range of motion to control a firearm. ​

FAQ – Sporting CLAYS

What are Sporting Clays? 

Sporting clays are projectiles that are designed to simulate the hunting of birds for shooters. It is the closest thing to actual field shooting of all shotgun sports.

Do I Need to Have Experience With Shooting Before Trying This Activity? 

Our Ranch guides can assist beginners in both initial firearm safety and training. With proper knowledge and training beginners can enjoy learning how to shoot Sporting Clays. 

Why do people choose to learn the art of Sporting Clay shooting? 

​Some of our guests are looking to experience shooting a firearm for the first time, with an experienced professional to assist them. Other guests are hunters or marksman and find the sport of shooting a fun and exhilarating way to enjoy their time on the Ranch. 

Is Hunting wild game allowed on the Ranch? 
Hunting of any type is not allowed on Beaumont Ranch property for the safety of our guests. The only shooting allowed on property is with a Ranch guide on a Sporting Clay activity. ​
